PROFESSOR HELEN VALENTINE
Retired Deputy Vice Chancellor, Anglia Ruskin University
Helen worked at Anglia Ruskin University as Deputy Vice Chancellor for 16 years until 2018. During her time at ARU she was responsible for a range of support services including HR, IT, Estates, and Student Services.
Prior to that she worked at a senior level at the University of the West of England in Bristol as Dean of the Bristol Business School and Assistant Vice Chancellor and held general management and marketing management roles in the Bakeries Division of Ranks Hovis McDougall.
Since retiring she has taken on the voluntary role of Chair of Cambridge United Charities and has continued to support the future development of Greater Cambridge as a member of the GCP Assembly.
