Cambridge residents and businesses asked for their parking issues

Residents and businesses can help to shape a new plan for tacking on-street parking issues in Cambridge.

People are being encouraged to inform the Greater Cambridge Partnership about the on-street parking challenges they face in the city – whether it is parking that is causing obstruction and delay, residents having difficulty parking near their homes or a shortage of loading bays and blue badge spaces.

The feedback will be used to help develop a new plan for further on-street parking controls – including the possible introduction of additional residents’ parking schemes.

The work forms part of the GCP’s City Access programme and the development of a new integrated parking strategy with Cambridgeshire County Council and Cambridge City Council to better manage parking across the area and to encourage more people to walk, cycle or take public transport.

To take part, people are invited to drop pins and leave comments on an interactive map on the GCP’s engagement website, ConsultCambs, by 21 March.

People can also email their comments to consultations@greatercambridge.org.uk or call 01223 699906.
