The COVID-19 outbreak has had an unprecedented effect across the world, leading to vast changes to business, home, leisure and academia.

We know this is an incredibly tough time for businesses across Greater Cambridge, and we are working closely with our partners to understand how we can help to support business through this critical period.

Following discussions with construction contractors, Cambridgeshire County Council has taken the decision to cease non-essential work on road projects and focus on emergency and safety critical work during the COVID-19 outbreak. This means that construction work on our Histon Road project has stopped.

We are keeping all other projects under review and will always follow national guidance.

As well as supporting businesses through this challenging time, we are also considering how we can support businesses to get back on their feet following this outbreak.
