Find out more and have your say on plans for this new public transport route.
The project offers better public transport connections and active travel alternatives to car use for growing communities south east of Cambridge.
The launch of this consultation has unfortunately been delayed by one week as we make final adjustments to the consultation materials. The consultation will now start on Monday 19 October 2020 and last for 8 weeks until Monday 14 December. We apologise for any inconvenience or confusion that this may cause.
The new public transport route between the A11 at Babraham and Cambridge was approved in principle by the Greater Cambridge Partnership Executive Board in June 2020. The route would run from a new travel hub near the A11 and Babraham to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus via Sawston, Stapleford and Great Shelford connecting to the planned Cambridge South Station and existing guided busway.
Environmental Impact Assessment
As part of the scheme development process we will be conducting a full Environmental Impact Assessment, and are seeking your views on the design of the proposals and how we could best manage and mitigate possible impacts and any changes to the design needing to be considered.
The consultation will be held online. All materials, videos, an interactive map and supporting documents will be available on our website from 19 October until 14 December 2020.
You can register for a postal information pack by telephoning 01223 699906 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the meantime, please see our project pages for further information and background documents of the proposals.
