2024 engagement
Thank you for sharing your views on the updated proposal for the Madingley Road walking and cycling project, the engagement period has now closed.
The feedback received from our consultation in 2020 has informed the revised proposals. Although the preliminary design has been completed, the scheme is to be further refined during detailed design and is subject to change.

What's happened so far
2019 pre-engagement
Engagement and a series of pre-consultation workshops were undertaken in late 2019. These workshops were targeted at residents, local councillors, businesses and colleges within the Madingley Road area.
2020 consultation
We carried out a public consultation on two options for Madingley Road to make walking and cycling more attractive. Following discussions regarding the land needed and potential loss of trees, it is sadly not possible for us to take this option forward.
