Are you interested in environmental issues and making a different to your local community? The Greater Cambridge Partnership wants to find out your view on creating a world class transport system for Cambridge that offers a real alternative to the car and improves air quality.
Currently car drivers spend almost a quarter of their commute in traffic jams and new figures show that 106 deaths were attributed to poor air quality in Greater Cambridge in 2016.
We must take action now to tackle congestion, improve air quality, and create a new fast, reliable public transport service, which offers a real alternative to the car.
Drop-by to this event especially for students at the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University to find out more about the options and to feedback, including road charging, changes to parking and restricting vehicle access to roads.
Further information on the event is available on our Choices for Better Journeys project page.
