In November 2015, the City Deal sought to generate further ideas and feedback from the public and experts, locally and from around the country, in a Call for Evidence.
It was an opportunity for individuals to put forward their thoughts on how they believed the congestion issues in Cambridge can be solved.
Written submissions were invited and four public sessions, focussing on different perspectives on the problem and potential solutions, were held. These started with an initial launch event followed by three evidence sessions on Monday 16, Wednesday 18, and Monday 30 November 2015.
The first deadline for written submissions passed on 30th November. 56 written submissions were received by this date. A second deadline for written evidence passed on 31st December. Many interesting and useful representations were received generating thought-provoking debate. The City Deal Executive Board and Assembly would like to thank everyone who took part in the process.
