Waterbeach to Cambridge consultations and engagement

Following previous consultation and engagement, we consulted on the two best performing options for the Waterbeach to Cambridge busway and three different options for a new Waterbeach park and ride.

The results of this consultation, alongside further technical work, are being submitted to the GCP's Joint Assembly with recommendations on the project's next steps - further information can be found on the latest updates page.

Following public engagement in the autumn of 2019 and the summer of 2020, we developed a number of options to improve transport to the north of Cambridge. Feedback was sought on proposals in four areas of interest:

• East area
• Central area
• A10 area
• West area
