We’ve finished all the work in Shepreth as part of the Melbourn Greenway project. The improvements made to the Shepreth include:

• A new crossing outside Shepreth Village Hall. 
• New crossings on Fowlmere Road at the junctions with Meldreth Road, Angle Lane and Barron’s Green.  
• Double yellow lines added along Station Road. 
• Introduction of a 20mph speed limit starting at the Barron’s Green and Fowlmere Road junction through to the railway station. 
• Traffic calming measures, such as speed humps and a 30mph limit added on Fowlmere Road between Barron’s Green and the A10. 
• Upgraded street lighting throughout Shepreth and the A10.
• Resurfacing between Barron’s Green and the station entrance.

In addition to the works the GCP and Cambridgeshire County Council’s Highways Team worked together to fix broken drainage, and the GCP provided extensive resurfacing of the highway from the Shepreth railway station to Barron’s Green.
