The greenway will make it safer and easier to reach Bottisham Village College, the new Marleigh development, Newmarket Road park and ride, Fen Ditton Primary School, shops and enjoy the River Cam on Ditton Meadows, Stourbridge Common and Riverside.
Following the A1303 to Stow-Cum-Quy from Bottisham, it passes under the A14 near Quy Mill. It follows the A1303 then through the Marleigh development to Fen Ditton and onto paths through Ditton Meadows, Stourbridge Common and to Riverside.
Where we are
Ahead of construction starting in the summer (subject to planning permission), our focus over the next couple of months is on investigating and developing plans to ensure we protect wildlife and the environment while delivering the best possible transport links for anyone using this route in the future.
How we got here
We first consulted on the route in autumn 2019 with further engagement on our updated plans in spring 2023.
Our board agreed to proceed in June 2023 after agreeing some further tweaks.
