The greenway will make it easier and safer to reach Bottisham Village College, the new Marleigh development, Newmarket Road Park and Ride and enjoy the River Cam along Ditton Meadows, Stourbridge Common and Riverside.
The project’s full business case was approved at our Executive Board which took place Thursday 5 November 2026. Although planning approvals are still required for some off-road aspects, we’re starting construction on improvements to existing paths, crossing points, wayfinding and lighting. Work is expected to begin in early 2027.
