The greenway is linking homes, schools and businesses in Waterbeach, Milton and northern Cambridge and joining up to the Chisholm Trail, Milton Road, railway stations and Park and Rides for onward journeys.
We’ve delivered a new segregated cycle track and footway along Cowley Road, with space for people to walk, wheel and cycle in both directions. Pedestrians also benefit from a new raised crossing opposite the entrance to St John’s Innovation Park – giving walkers and cyclists priority crossing for the first time on this part of Cowley Road.
