The length of the greenway is approximately 5.5km .
We’re progressing designs for the northern section of the route. As part of this, surveys are being developed, lighting specification requirements are being worked up, and we’re talking to landowners on our plans for the route.
The Waterbeach Greenway will link homes, schools and businesses in Waterbeach, Milton and northern Cambridge. It will then join up to the Chisholm Trail, Milton Road, Railway stations and Park and Rides for onward journeys.
All of our greenways routes will have signage and wayfinding, which will help people who are not familiar with the route.
