Public inquiry dates set
The Department for Transport (DfT) has confirmed that a public inquiry is taking place from Tuesday 8 December 2026.
Ahead of the public inquiry, a pre-meeting is taking place at 10am on Tuesday 20 October. The pre-meeting will discuss procedural matters and set a timetable for the inquiry. You can watch the pre-meeting on our YouTube channel or in person at the Graduate by Hilton, Granta Place, Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RT.

Statement of Case
As part of the public inquiry process, we have submitted a Statement of Case to the DfT.
