Transport & Works Act Order application
Public inquiry arrangements to be set out shortly
We have applied for a Transport and Works Act Order to the Department for Transport (DfT) for a new busway, travel hub and path for walkers and cyclists to the southeast of Cambridge.
The application was submitted to the DfT in 2025, and you can view the application documents in our document library.
The Secretary of State is now reviewing the Statements of Case and will shortly set out next steps, including the arrangements for a public inquiry.
Statement of Case
As part of the public inquiry process, we have submitted a Statement of Case to the DfT.
