Public inquiry dates set
The Department for Transport (DfT) has confirmed that a public inquiry is being held from Tuesday 8 December 2026.
Ahead of the public inquiry, a pre-meeting has taking place on Tuesday 20 October. The pre-meeting discussed procedural matters and set a timetable for the inquiry. You can watch a recording of the pre-meeting on our YouTube channel.
All public inquiry documents can be viewed on the independent public inquiry website. Further details about the public inquiry will be published nearer the time.
Statement of Case
As part of the public inquiry process, we have submitted a Statement of Case to the DfT.
