Cambourne to Cambridge: consultations and engagement

Stakeholder engagement and public consultations helped develop our proposals.

We have worked closely with communities throughout the development of our scheme.

Our four public consultations gave people the chance to share their views and help shape our plans.

We also held regular community meetings, so residents and local representatives could be directly involved and have their voices heard during the development stages.

If you’d like to learn more about what we’ve done and what people told us, you can find full details below.

West Area Community Forum & Local Liaison Forum

A Local Liaison Forums (LLF) was set up for Cambourne to Cambridge in 2016. The project team and members of the local community met regularly to

  • give an update on the project and
  • involve the local community in the scheme development.

The West Area Community Forum has now replaced the LLF. The Community Forum is part of a location-based engagement, which covers all GCP schemes in the area.

Papers of meetings can be found below.
